SELECTING THE CORRECT TYPE OF LENS

Once the prefitting examination is completed you must determine which type of lens you are going to recommend and fit to the patient.  

The lens type depends on many factors including:

*Patients visual requirements
*Patients environment
*Patients work, sports and 
     other activities
*Patients previous contact 
     lens experience
*Patient desires
*Ocular anatomy
*Refractive error
